Nadia Buhari Turns Down $75,000 Endorsement Deal

The 2014 African Achievers Awards actress of the year is reported to have turned down an endorsement deal worth $75,000 from French cosmetic company Avant Claire Grande.
PR’ for the actress informed the endorsement contract was a bid for Avant Claire to lace into the African market with Nadia Buari as their brand ambassador because she appealed to their target market better than any other African celebrity based on their research.
The actress hence called off the signing at a board meeting in Paris after discovering the Claire product contained compounds of hydroquinone (a chemical used for skin whitening and bleaching).
When asked of reasons for her actions she educated the press of the negative effects skin bleaching adding that she (Nadia Buari) wasn’t going to give up her ethics for any amount of money.
Our research confirms Avant Claire Grande is one of the leading skin care brands in Europe that manufactures a wide range of beauty enhancement products for women.
